A reminder to people curious about book news: I now put stuff like that behind my
News link. A reminder to people with general, factual questions (for example, how to purchase signed copies of the books): you'll almost certainly find your answers, and more, on my
Contacts, Info, and Credits page or in my
FAQs. I have a few other links, too, where you can probably find the info you're looking for -- see my
home page.
I'm still reading through the wonderful
comments from Monday. Thank you, everyone, for taking the time to introduce yourselves! Reading it all is so much fun. :o)
Here's my question for you today: Which Muppet are you, and why?
(h/t to R for the question!)Take us out, Gonzo
.

I have to be that crazy French Chef!
He's my favorite character of them all. I love that he's always in the background running around madly and yet no one really knows what he's doing and nobody understands what he says half the time but it's okay because he's doing his own little thing and he's happy about it.
And randomly, my security word just now is paperact which I think is funny considering the number of writers here... :)
my favourites are definetely the two grumpy old men on the balcony. They are a real treat to watch.

i LOVE grover and elmo. i would have to be a combination of Grover, Elmo and Kermit... but somewhere hidden you might find Animal...lol...
Violet...i feel for you...sometimes i can be very graceful... yes indeed i have graced the world with an undeniable hint of clutsiness that can show up out of the blue... with no warning... ask the garden hose that threw me to the ground just this last summer...almost twice in one week!!! i wish i were lying... luckily it is only on occasion. i manage to handle myself pretty well most of the time :-)!!!
I LOVE the muppets and Kermit singing the rainbow song is one of my very favorite of all time!!
your the best and your blogs are fun :-)

Animal is great too. But maybe I just like guys who are kinda wild but don't say a lot :D
I just finished reading Fire and I loved it. (I won't spoil.) I thought it was very well done and I especially liked the crossover with you know who.
I want to thank you for how you handle the sex in your books. They are very tastefully done and I love that they leave a lot to the imagination. I often think that the smutty books don't do much because they put it all out there for everyone to see. I think the way you right those scenes are much more desirable. Also, I feel like the characters truly love each other rather than lust after each other, other than a few characters of course. So, thank you!
I'd have to saw Rolwf maybe Fozzy. Always joking but very chill. But the the sarcastic side of me is Statler/Waldorf. But I love the Muppets. They never did anything that wasn't worth watching.
He's probably my favorite Muppet and I wouldn't mind having some selective invisibility.
:-)
Solid question.
I am not, however, wearing a neck-a tie.

I honestly don't know which muppet I would be... I love all of them! Elmo, Grover, Big Bird, and Ernie were always some of my favorites though. ;)
Thank you for answering my question on ideas. I was curious to see what you would say. And, I am the same way. The idea has to be my own, otherwise I just can't do anything with it. I think most people are like that though. Lucky for me, I never lack ideas. ;)
I do have one idea I want to share with you though... :)
I think you should have a "spoiler post". Meaning, a post in which we can all tell you exactly what we loved about your books without spoiling it for others or breaking rule number two. ;)
Alexa, that's an interesting idea. I'll think about it!
That said I am a Gonzo. (Especially before they decided they "needed" to label him and call him an alien in muppets in space.)
Gonzo both doesn't care what people think about him and his odd ways but also wants to be loved and loves freely. (i.e. See Camilla the Chicken). He is a true dreamer who believes nothing is impossible. Yet he is oddly vulnerable for all his brave stunts. Also Gonzo gets to sing the best song ever. ("I'm going to Go Back There Someday" from the Muppet Movie)
But if you break down the muppet characters, each of them is actually a dreamer. And that is why the muppets are so amazing.
Yeah I'm a muppet geek alright.
Leah
I'm a little out there and the few people who get me, really, really get me.
Fun question!
Kristen, you said you were starting on the Muppet show, and I wanted to say that one of the best ways to watch it is when you're sick. I don't know what or how much you like to do when you're sick; but when I'm sick nothing beats a hot compress and a couple hours worth of Muppets for cheering me up!
I wonder what Swedish people think of the Swedish chef? Anyone Swedes out there care to comment?
fun question!
i'm Beaker,I always really liked him, my favorite character though is the Swedish chef. I love the muppets so much!
Now that I've written all that, I realize I'm Miss Piggy. Yup, chubbette with an attitude, that's me, in love with the most wonderful guy.
I must be writing the right thing because my word verification word is "mating"
Cool video by the way! :)
If you visit my website-- you can see my one feeble attempt at writing! xD
I'm so happy that your writing another book that I don't care how long it takes, because I know that it will be worth the wait. I love diving into the world that your books have painted in my mind.
You should really give the BBC Robbin Hood a try if you haven't already. I don't have cable so netflicks is my life saver. Everything I want is just a day away by mail.

Have a great day!~

If I could be any Muppet, though, I'd totally love to be Zoot.
He can do way better than Miss Piggy.
